A BLUE BOOK CHECKLIST AND SCORING GUIDE
A successful blue book exam requires that you do well in each of the following areas:

Scoring scale: Not attempted ~ In progress ~ Meets standard ~ Exemplary

___ (0-15 pts) .....Answers the question(s) asked

___ (0-15 pts) .....Presents a thesis

___ (0-10 pts) .....Suggests conclusions related to the question

___ (0-25 pts) .....Presents evidence that supports the thesis

___ (0-20 pts .....Relates all points and evidence to its central thesis

___ (0-5 pts) .....Is legible

___ (0-10 pts) .....Meets grammatical and orthographic standards

___ (0-100 points) .....TOTAL SCORE
